The biggest lesson I’ve learned as a creative

The biggest lesson I’ve learned as a creative with 20+ years of experience and 4 businesses

There’s one big lesson I’ve learned in over two decades in the creative industry.

When you’re being your authentic self, you have no competition. You’ll have collaborators and fans and contemporaries, but you’re not competing to be something that someone else already is.

When the right people see your uniqueness, they will connect with you and your work on a deeper level.

You should ask yourself: ‘why am I or the work I produce the right solution for my clients’ problems?’ and then base your brand on the answer.

We are forever a work in progress as is the world, but if we ask this question regularly, and adjust accordingly, we’ll always be heading in the right direction.
